Today, Nooga.com reported that Chattanooga-based startup Pass It Down was selected as a semi-finalist for Aging 2.0’s Global Startup Search.
“If we win the pitch event, we have the opportunity to potentially attend the final showcase in San Francisco in October,”entrepreneur and Pass It Down founder Chris Cummings said via email.
Cummings created Pass It Down to make it easy to document anecdotes and memories through video, audio, photos, and text. It’s a high-tech, user-friendly oral history platform aimed at helping chronicle memories and facts that would otherwise be lost.
“We feel this is a great opportunity for Pass It Down to develop relationships in the senior care industry, secure pilots, and partnerships, and to hopefully win $2,500,” Cummings also said.
Aging 2.0’s mission is to encourage innovation that improves the lives of older adults.
